Photoshop CS2 Tutorials and Photoshop CS3 Tutorials – Watercolor in Photoshop

Today seems to be a day for giving you information on plugins and resources! However, I promise that I will be posting a Photoshop CS2 tutorial or Photoshop CS3 tutorial today as well for you.

I wanted to speak to some of the painters out there that are looking to use Photoshop as a digital medium for their artwork or to just test the power of Photoshop for an artist.

Someone emailed me today about a new product that covers everything you need to know about how a real watercolor looks like and explains in a step by step demonstration how to manipulate a few Photoshop filters and tools to achieve the desired results in many of your photographic images.

It gives you information on:

• how to manipulate a photographic image without loss of focus, enhancing color and edges, creating a lifelike watercolor look while preserving the essential elements of the image

• how to make your digital painting look like you’ve spent countless hours creating brushwork and texture by working with only a few Photoshop filters

• how to create the shimmering hues and values that great watercolorists use

• which filters to use and how to combine them to create the illusion of a handpainted watercolor picture

I was very impressed at how realistic you could make a picture in Photoshop look like a watercolor painting. Anyways, for more information you can check it out at this link.

Let me know how it works for you, and I’d love to see what you created with it!

Edward
